Looking for hotel/ sleeping share in Daytona

I will be in Daytona October 18-22 and need to find a place to la my head
at the end of the night. I have everything else in line with exception to
that. I need accomodations for 2 people. It can be a single bed/room or
anything along those lines. Even space for an air mattress or something
like that.

Or if you want to split a hotel room that is fine as well. All the hotels
I priced out will be about $650 at least. If someone isn't going to be
there until the 19th, i can pick up the first night myself and maybe even
the last if you are leaving right after the races are over on Sunday.

I was planning on sleeping in my truck the entire stay as hotels are major $.  I would not mind sharing and I heard prices were dropping.  I plan on Wed night thru Sat night and am alone and VERY hetero.

did you know you can camp in the infield @ daytona for free? well, its not free, but its included in the paddock pass. I'll be camping out there! Only problem is you have to get your pass/credentials at registration before they close. I tried every possible way to get my pass early but it was not possible. I wont be getting in till thrusday night late. And since I wont have credentials, I wont be able to get in to camp. I even asked if I could sign the waivers early, have them notorized then return them to CCS but they said its not possible. No early sale of credentials is what they said! i think its bull crap!

Its too bad CCS isnt willing to work with me on this. And as a result I'm going to have to sleep in my car that night...

That means I cant unload the trailer until early morning, hustle, get to tech, miss 1st practice, then do the TC...
