Securing the rear tire in enclosed trailer

I have a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer set up for 2 bikes with removable chocks.  I'm looking for ideas of keeping the rear tires of my bikes from ending up against the side of the trailer or hitting each other.  For now I just throw a tire between the wall and bike, but there has to be a better way.   I was thinking of putting a hook on the floor behind the tire and straping it through the rim.  Let me know how the professionals do it.  Thanks

2 floor tiedowns, tie from the subframe to the tie-downs.  It doesn't need to be cranked down, just secure so it doesn't hop.

 Drive slower.  Leave earlier.

I don't always tie mine down, once in a while will do just one side...  Usually fine.

I put straps from the footpegs forward to the same two d-rings that hold the front wheel in place..  Back end stays in place, no extra pressure on the suspension so I can just leave it that way when I get home and not worry about un-strapping it.

Get a strapless stand and you won't have to worry.

You could go this route - which is what I would do if I could afford a new set up....But as of now I just use a wheel chock for the front wheel and tie the bike down with soft ties attached to the forks - pulling the bike forward into the chock...Nothing holding the rear end - and I haven't ever had a problem with it moving side to side....Try moving the rear end over - I bet you have a hard time getting it done - unless you lift the rear of the bike in the air....You would have to hit a serious bump in order to get the rear end in the air with the bike strapped in this manner......My 2 cents....

Check out this website: http://www.blackandgray.com/main.htm. Go to the Wheel chocks and look at what they have for the rear wheel, it really is a cool idea. These are made of very thick plastic and are VERY sturdy, they can be screwed down permanently or you can purchase a quick mount Dzus fastener kit from them as well. I spoke with the guy that makes this stuff when I ordered wheel chocks from him a couple years ago and he is extremely proud of his products and the craftsmanship that goes into them.

I also have the leather suit extreme duty clothes hanger he sells called the Hi-Per Hanger, you can literally hang from it if you want to! I would gladly stand behind this companies products, the ones I have are truely top notch.

or you could take a tie down, wrap it around the rear tire(through the rim) and attach it to a hook on the othe side, doesnt move
