Yeah, I run a 15/44 at SP and VIR..was thinking more like a 42 rear at Daytona, but never been, so was asking.

wow...16/43.  One up in the front over stock and one down in the rear over stock.  So basically a 15/41, but I guess the 16/43 I could use the same chain.

badmonkey

stock motor will not pull a 16/43. I ran 16/44 with a 90 hp motor. 15/43 is what you will end up with.

old course + supersport sv = 16/43. If your running up front with the experts. You should be able to use the same chain.

Interesting I know three guys that were running 16/44 on newer model and couldn't pull that gearing. My bike on the dyno tached out with 16/44 was 154 mph, so if you running 16/43 on a stock motor I'm impressed. Where can I get one?

16/43 for sure! Most all top expert guys ran this setup on are SS bikes. I ran 15/42 once to but depends on wind and setting up draft.
