I was thumbing through some pics I tossed up in a gallery that were taken at BHF, and was amused to find that of all the pics in that gallery, the ONE pic of my daughter's 12 year old friend had 2-3x the hits that any other picture there did...

It was just a few years ago that she still looked like a little girl.  Dang, they grow up fast.  Now she's asking what kind of dress she should get for homecoming and hopes that a certain, oh my- - boy - - asks her to go with him.

Oh yeah........mine has a date tonight with a young man (Brian) she met at a birthday party at my nieces house. But, this kid is cool. The first time he called her he asked "So, do you do any drugs or drink or anything?". Kristen, my daughter thought "Oh no, he's going to offer up some stuff? and she answers"No, never touch it."  Brian says "Great, then I can keep talking to you......."

He's on the varsity football and baseball teams in school and plans to pursue aeronautical engineering for a job so...yeah, I guess she can go out with him. i talked to him at length at the party where she met him and he's really a sharp kid. I hope all the guys she meets are of this caliber.

If not....they may see my caliber, Colt .45 ACP.
