3 australians and 1 American of Lake Motor Sports won the Motetai!
And that was even after we totaled the bike in first lap of practice!
:wtf:  :ahhh:

One of our riders highsided onto the front straight in the first lap of practice.
He hurt himself pretty good, but really worked hard not to
show it and get the bike running again. We replaced wheels, forks,
sub-frame, swing arm, and many other misc parts to make the bike run
again. After slapping it back together we all drew straws to see who
would have to ride the hastily slapped back together bike during the
last 10min of practice. Unluckily our rider Ben drew shortest and out
he went. He came back in a few times noticing that a few bolts were
missing our backing out. The bike was really out of sorts but it ran.
We made a bunch of adjustments and made ourselves ready for the next
day of qualifying.

Even through the above drama and many others not mentioned yet, we
managed to become the first foreigners to win the Motegi Motetai!

Check out my website soon... as updates will be coming!
I'll be back stateside Wednesday evenning.

Nope, we just flew over for the race. I'm at Narita Airport now getting ready to fly back to the states.

Meanwhile, no one in America cares.  If you were from any other country, the National Guard would have to help you get off the plane!
Way to go!  You're my hero, if that counts for anything....
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

aug 27th at gateway... supposed to be a great plains race there the weekend after as well.

who you runnin TC at Barber with?  you get a bike hashed out already or you runnin someone elses?

I think my TC days are done this year... cant make Barber (missing the wifes B-Day 4 years in a row isnt an option), no TC at the ASRA at autobahm, and with the GP series dropping TC and one of team out for the season... just not in the cards.

good luck down there, post up a report!

Hopefully I'll be entered in the sprints on my own bike by that time.

Runnin' with Freddy Frees. He's got an older R6 that might hold together long enough for each of us to run an 1hr on for the Team Challenge.
<fingers crossed>

if you can manage only one stop you should do well... good luck on that in that heat though, we planned 40 min sessions at HPT and managed to run 20-25 mins... too damn hot!  Wish I could go down there,  TC there was a great time last year!  I think one more missed b-day and I woud get to be single again

If your looking for a 3rd I may now a guy... I trust him on my bike more than I trust myself, PM me I'll give you his info

Good luck man, see ya at gateway!
