Usually 2 rounds of practice on Saturday morning..about 8 minutes each maybe and 1 round on Sunday about 10 minutes.

What about the TC was on Friday the 11th? Any word/idea on practice for that?

I to, would like some track time before the race. I talked with the track this afternoon asking the same thing, they said they never get enough intrest and usualy loose money. The track rental is $12000 per day so they would need 100 people at $120 per head just to break even. I went to VIR last weekend and did the cornerspeed track day, there was way over 100 people. I think Barber could do it if everyone interested would call the track, they took my name and number. So call!

Plus insurance.... plus cornerworkers (20 minimum),plus security, plus gate workers..... add another 5K easy.

I had 2 guys going also, no practice, new track, we are staying home. I think the management at Barber is cutting there own necks with this one.

Ok... the path to enlightenment....

Barber MSP works like this...

Barber Foundation (BF) owns the track.

Zoom Motorsports (ZM)/Bruno Event Team rents the track from Barber Foundation and rents it out. When BF rents the track to ZM they expect FULL payment for the course. If ZM falls short at a "Promoter Practice" due to low turn-out BF doesn't cut ZM a break, ZM eats it.

This is a Business decision... obviously CCS/Kevin Elliott does not feel comfortable putting $16,000+ at risk for a practice day and neither does Zoom Motorsports.. that's business.

Wow, are you guys shittin me?... just because there's no track day the day before, you're not going to go?  LAME.

It's an easy as fuck track to learn, and there's morning practice AND it's a twin-sprint event, so you can always do better in the second rounds.

never rode there but plan on racing and hoping for the best

There is an EASY solution to all of this!  Why doesn't everyone run the Team Challenge... that would be a good practice opportunity.  It's only 175.00 and you get 69 laps!  Better than nothing... just remember to ride smart as there is a championship chase going on! 8)

Plus our team could use the extra money we'll get for first overall with that many bikes on the grid
