It looked like Nate suffered from some heat stress yesterday right after the ASRA Thunderbike bike race. He was taken into the ambulance, but thats about all i could see that happened after that.  Just wondering if he was ok?

oh man...I talked to him right afterwards - when he was at the dyno with the bike - he seemed very hot and exhausted - was drinking water - didn't see him after that....

The last I heard they were taking him to a local hospital with some form of heat exhaustion. Same type of thing thing happened to some of the MARRC Safety Crew and a couple of spectators also.

Yeah, He didn't look good from my point of view. His face was bright red and he had a hard time getting to his feet with some help from the medics.

A friend of mine spoke with Nate this morning about other racing related matters.  I mentioned this post and he said that Nate didn't even say anything anout it,  So must not have been too serious. He is on his way home now.

Thats good to here that he was ok. You never know with that kind of stuff, sometimes its just over exaustion or it could be a  more serious problem.
