RB-511 and RB-512 Safety Report
May 17, 2006

To all CRG RB-511 and RB-512 Lever Owners, Dealers and Distributors:

Please note that we have observed a condition with CRG Roll-A-Click Levers RB-511 and RB-512, which relates to potential safety issues. Model RB-511 is designed for use on 2004 thru 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycles, and 2005 thru 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycles. Model RB-512 is designed for use on 2003 thru 2006 Ducati 749 and 999 motorcycles, and on 2004 thru 2006 Aprilla Mille R motorcycles

REASON FOR THIS RECALL
Constructors Racing Group, LLC (CRG) has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain model RB-511 and model RB-512 Roll-A-Click adjustable motorcycle front brake levers. These brake levers have a metal
rocker that is attached to the end of the lever. The rocker, in turn, has a pivot bore, which interfaces with the motorcycle's master cylinder. If the pivot bore is significantly misaligned, the brake lever could potentially become seized in the brake engaged position, thereby preventing the front brakes from disengaging and potentially resulting in a vehicle crash.
