New to list bear with me all but...

I am for the life of me trying to figure out the difference in all the classes the RS can run in...smells like LWGP, MWGP, GTU, UGP and GTO.

Noticed on the pre-entry that half are 70.00 entries and the rest are standard...Hmmm..  Ok assuming that these are purse races where are the purse outlines? But more importantly, lets assume that I can afford either 5 races OR 3 races and maybe a set of tires...

What are the inherent differences between these classes other than displacement..lightweight vs. middleweight has more amatuers? experts? faster? slower? et, etc...same action with GTO, GTU, UGP?????

Looking forward to meeting all of you, hopefully not mid corner and thanks in advance for all your help!

I can help answer a few of your questions, hopefully some of your 2 stroke brethren can help hopefully with some of your others.  Also, since many SE racers are on the other board, I would post these questions there also.  Title it RS250 racers in Florida or something.

I'm not certain, I didn't think a 250 2 stroke qualified for LWGP?

$70 versus "standard".  Yes, all purse paying classes are $70.  You can find the payouts (and lots more info) in the New Racer Packet in the Forms section of ccsracing.com.

In my experience the ULGP, GTU, GTO, and SS classes are the most competitive.  Maybe this is because most of the cash and contingencies have been geared towards these classes.

I'm going to assume Aprilia RS250?
If so, read on
If not... stop here.

MWSM, GTL, LWSS, LWSB, LWGP

IMO, easiest to hardest, assuming stock bike (from my experience last year):

MWSM, LWSS, LWSB, GTL, LWGP

I would definitely race MWSM, LWSS, GTL b/c they all pay $$.  (Hopefully Aprila pays for MWSM again)

This year, I probably won't run LWGP.

Thanks Guys!! Checked out the CCS site and went back through the rules and ontingencies...pretty clear there..  Bike is a Honda RS not Aprillia so looks like class limited to LWGP, GTO, UGP maybe GTU?

Am I missing something here?

Also would seem that if that points are accrued for all races/classes run...GP Two Strokes are a bit of a longshot for a club hampionship..not a consideration in my case merely an observation..

Also, a SE board was mentioned.. Is there a specific board just for the region?

Thanks Again!!

No, I think he was just talking about the 'General' board on this site.

I was talking about the wera.com board  :o, many CCS racers there also, and many/most of the members there are in the SE.  Ask about WERA and CCS classes.

250 GP bikes (TZs, Honds RSs) can run in LWGP, MWGP, ULGP, GTU, and GTO.

I have heard that f-usa is permitting 250gp bikes in with the mw superbike... any reason why CCS isn't?  It would be nice to have another class to race
