Hey guys,

After doing about eight trackdays, I'm gonna try my hand at Racing. :) It's something I've wanted to do since I was 14, and I'm pretty excited and a little nervous. I'm gonna be racing the 5/27 Trackaddix event at MAM  in the LW SS class on a first gen SV. I know I'm not going to be the fastest guy out there, and I'm just gonna give it my all and try to learn as much as possible.

Any advice is appreciated. Also if you are at the event please feel free to offer advice / criticism in person. I'll be on a blue and white SV #515. My dad will be on a similar SV #516. He'll be doing his first race as well, in the Formula 40 class.

I'm definately looking forward to it!

Welcome to the fray. Believe me, they'll let you know if you've done something wrong.

Best advice: relax and have fun! :D

advice... drink lots of water.  Poop the race BEFORE you are up.  Pee on 1st call and don't sweat it if you leak a little on the line ;-)

your nerves will wreak havoc on you.  Just relax and above all HAVE FUN.  You're doing this to have fun.  You will be a bit scared, but just relax and have fun.

A real racer can go #2, between 1st and 3rd call!
