Rob, Hey man I was right behind you when you got taken going up the hill towards the bridge this weekend at summit. It's me, Bryan#57 on the red R1, we ran together at cmp a few weeks ago. Those two were holding us up threw the S's and when we came out of 9 you broke to the left and I broke to the right and then that dude high sided and his bike pushed you into the tires. Not really anyone's fault, just one of those freak things. Anyway I was pitted next to Troy Meikle and he gave me an update. Let me know how your doin and get well soon. C-ya, Bryan

Hey, Rob I hope everythings ok, I feel sorry that you got taken out but as bryan said it was a freak thing,  My tires were cold and even the warmup lap didn't get enough heat into them which is why I was slow since it was sliding around and then highsided me in turn 9.  I didn't know anyone else was involed till i got up to walk off the track.  Get well soon

I'm not 100% sure.  Troy said he talked to him on the phone and he was awake but in  alot of pain. Possibly broken back ?. Not real sure and I don't want to pass along any bad info. I don't think he has any paralysis but again I'm not 100% sure. How are you? Dude, you must have been 6 ft in the air. That shit looked nasty. I hate that happened to both of ya'll. Bryan

Brian, do you know where he's at?  I think the thing that upset me the most is when I  seen that they had our XT-racing timers mixed up I went to tech to exchange them and seen the little hand prints on the bike it upset me real bad since I have a 6 week old girl and know the load a accident puts on a family.  myself sore real sore most of my joints where over extended and i might have partialy torn tendons in my knees.  I hit my same shoulder that took a highside last year in turn 3 and tore musles,  head never hit, the bike has about 4-5k in damge plus a hole in the frame but i'm not real worried about the bike at the moment.  I just remember the rear starting to go then the wip up and over then sliding looking at my bike saying shit this is going to hurt when it hits me, then i must have turned while sliding and seen the my bike barrel roling and dust flying.  upon stopping i got up with great pain in my knees thinking I broke my legs but was able to walk to the tire wall then thats when i seen Rob was involved and he was up against the tire walll his bike on him or near him and my bike laying on his....

Not sure where he's at. I'll probably find out in the next couple of days. I'll definately let you know. I had a nasty high side last year at VIR. Fckin 1000's!
