very dissapointed in the inefficiency of reg this past weekend at summit.

Were you pre-entered? post entry? Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday? What went wrong in your opinion?

I was post reG, sat morning got on line at 7:12 left line at 8:30. imo. the three women kept diverting their attention to each others tasks , no one stayed on one task, also you need a line or person specifically alotted for new racers.

Points noted. On the new riders having their own line most of the schools have some discussion as to how to handle registering for a race or are you meaning for those that need to renew a license?

Secret pre-entry line moves faster. :-X

and from what I noticed -- being in the post entry line since I forgot to pre-reg....there weren't the normal number of pre-reg entries so the post reg line was a lot longer than usual...but i thought the ladies did a pretty good job handling everyone...

I give those ladies 100% credit for what they do for us.  Maybe next time you could volunteer to help check everyone in.  Really, they did a great job and preregistration would make things much quicker.  Heck, I showed up at 7:00 AM on Sunday expecting a delay and there was no one in line.

Because I'm to cheap to pre-enter, in case it rains or I have to work, I don't enter until I'm at the track. Consequently I have to wait in the post entry line, which is always long. Not CCS's fault, my decision. Personally, I thought the ladies did an outstanding job at Summit this past week-end. :)

I have to agree, I was very dissappointed with registration.  Everyone in this sport has superstitions, my first CCS weekend, I guess I was the 10 idiot in a row to ask a stupid question and June from registration ripped me apart.  I almost cried, almost.   :wah: That weekend was my one and only podium to date, hence the superstition.

Since then I've asked repeatedly to June to think up new material and to please insult me when I come through registration.  Wouldn't you know it, every single time she is sweet and nice to me, and guess what.... No more podiums.  Even when pressed she will come out with a lame cop out insult.  Even when I did some homework and thought of the 10 stupidest questions to ask her, all I got was a smile.

June your niceness is killing my season, please stop.

Z - You'll have to find somebody else to ask!  As I said, I'm really a nice person .. and I just can't think of insults on the fly!  See if you can get in somebody else's line and ask them a really ridiculous question .. maybe you'll get a really ridiculous .. or even rude .. response.  But I doubt it.  All of "my girls" have "been there done that" and it takes quite a bit to tick them off.

BTW everybody .. if I have enough help, I hope to set up one registration station to handle New Licensees only.  Should speed up the normal post entry lines a bit.  They still take so much time .. so much to remember.

And .. it would help TREMENDOUSLY if you would all grab a small group of post entry forms and take them home.  Fill 'em out before you get there.  AND make sure -everything- is filled in .. INCLUDING the Track Name and - F U L L - EVENT DATE (not the date you sign up -- the full weekend date .. (i.e. May 28-29, 2006) at the top.  (Gotta know where you were and when you were there on every piece of paper!)

Oh .. and one more thing... if you're not sure which classes you can run with which bike .. don't ask me 'cause I don't know!  READ THE RULEBOOK!! (You can download a copy from the CCS website .. or pick up one at registration)

Jeanne,
Had your name wrong all along, point noted going forward.  didn't realize you read the message board.  Please do not read my other post asking for material.  Oh and it isn't the "girls" it is just you who are part of my superstition, I will refrain from any unneccessary stupid questions when around anyone else.  I could really use it coming into this national summit event, couple 5ths in the last event, just need you to help me get over the hump.

However, the first question next time will have to be.....If I have a TZ250 can I run that in the lightweight class?  Followed by, since the new triumph is a triple and it seems in the rulebook to fit the qualifications for the lightweight class, can I run it in lightweight superstock?
