Hey guys
Im running a 1995 CBR600F3 over in WERA Vintage V7.
is there a simular class here in CCS?
I know it (and I) wont stand a chance in the meatgrinder 600ss.  is there a class for some of these "outdated" bikes???

I ran my 93 F2 in thunderbike. Email Kevin Elliot and ask him about a 95's eligible for thunderbike.

But you can run middleweight superbike (smaller class than supersport), middleweight GP, GTU isnt bad considering, heavyweight supersport is a smaller class and unlimited GP

You can do OK on an f3.  I was running consistant low 1:17s at BHF two years ago on mine (stock motor).  That was good for lots of top 10's some top fives in AM.

Fullmetal, if you are just starting out............the F3 will be fine in any of these classes.  Don't worry about your laptimes, just get track time your first couple of weekends.

This early in the game...........your "obsolete" racer will be just fine.

Now a 95 zx6r...........that would be a great bike for thunderbike.........can I.........please?

I am pretty sure only F2's are allowed in Thunderbike, but hey they let unlimited Buells run!

I didn't think there was much difference between F2's.......ZX6R's, FZR600, and F3's for that matter..............they all race together pretty close in V7mw.

Just wondering..............I thought Thunderbike was the green mile for F2's only.

Thunderbike rules allow for F2 bikes only.  (91 & 92 year models are specifically allowed as stated in the rules.  My '93 was grand-fathered in by KE...In writing.)
I heard somewhere that F3 bikes weren't allowed in because they have ram-air  (ie "fancy-pants" injection).
The F3 is fine in all other MW classes.
