I don't have ESPN, Speed, etc...so, I'm out of the loop.  Obviously, they did it for cost.  But MotoGP hasn't enacted anything like this.  So...bring all the engines, I guess.

I remember reading back in the day when they were allowed to run as many
motors as needed, that Formula 1 teams would budget over 100 million dollars
annually just for engines...

Man Suzuki would be screwed if they had to use only 1 engine a weekend.  How many did the team go through in Turkey like 10.  I think they would do better with a hopped up gixxer1k moter than what they have now.  Hell Kenny JR. is doing better on a home built bike.  They do have the power of Honda though.
