Go to your profile and
and under the personal text you select that you have own pic and put the website that the Gif or Jpg is located at it; automatically sizes and installs it for you.

OK. I went to my profile, checked that I had my own picture, put the web address in and clicked on change profile. Nuttin happend. I went to the test site and pasted the same address and the picture came up with no problem. It seems I can't change my settings. Any suggestions?

Don't put brackets around the addy when you put it into the avitar addy. Only use them for posting pix in oyur posts.
