DOT's or slicks on an SV superbike, or on any bike for that matter. Pros/Cons. Thanks for any feedback!

Supersport require's DOT's.  Open in most other classes.

You've got a CBR600RR, if I remember from one of you posts.

For a 600's and up with 17's wheels, I like DOT's because that's where the most development is.  Slicks has a lot of development in the 16.5's, but not so much in 17's.  Maybe a tiny bit in Dunlop in the US because of Superstock.  

Someone else might have another opinion, but that's mine.

There are some slicks out there that might give longer life, but they might not have the ultimate grip that a new race DOT has.
