Great info, thanks. I'm still looking to get an SV. I'm on ebay every day trying to find the right one for the right price. Any suggestions about where to get one that is set up for racing?

I've owned and raced both, and would definitely reccomend the 99-02 model.  They make very similar power, but the 99-02 is lower and more compact, and therfore handles better.

I'd reccomend getting one that is already set up (for your weight, if possible).  The CCS classifieds should be the 1st place you look, WERA and NESBA clasified are also a good choice.

Have Fun!
