Different Brake pads in the wet?

Does anyone use different brake pads in the wet?

I figure since most pads require a lot of heat to work properly they might not get hot enough to be effective.  Or is the lack of "bite" better in the wet to keep things smooth?

Some of us actually stay on the gas long enough to require brakes!  :o ;D

hmmmphm....

in that case... best bet in the wet is to flip your brake pads and run em backwards, that'll give you all the grip you need :P

see ya at gateway  ;)

Are you doing anything at Hallet?  Looking at my schedule, I may try and get to the race there in August...

tstruyk

Yeah, I switch from CL's back to Stock pads cause the CL's really want a ton of heat to work well...

Do it!  That track is a blast.  Also, see if you can find out which way they will be running the track.  Both directions are fun.  I will be trying to get down there.
