Hey all,

Looking to replace the stock bearings with some "exciting new bearings" that roll very nicely.  Anyone know of a good option?  Thanks,

Nate

I got my bearings from this place. They sell standard bearings (single and double seal, single and double shielded) and ceramic bearings.

So . . . ceramic bearings will or will not be noticeable on a stock-motor SV?  Worldwide says 40% less friction . . . 3 or 4 horsepower on a ZX-10.  So . . . like 1.5 horsepower on an SV?

I admit that I like the IDEA of amazing, cool bearings, but they're like 6 or 8 times more than standard.  Worth it?

I bought them, mostly because they are supposed to last 10 times longer than standard bearings. I hate changing wheel bearings.

Interesting.  I think my bearings are crap . . . they're not supposed to creak, are they?  (Just kidding.)

These guys do really good business, and ship rite away. They have cool stickers too. Buy the ceramic bearings, They cost a lot but are worth it.
