You also need to figure the 5 min board and cool down lap into every race. So now you're up to say 22-23 minutes per race. That is all figured in for the days schedule plus excess time for bike pick up after each race, track clean up from oil splills, red flags, etc. etc.

That is why less classes makes more sense. The typical weekend is so pressed for time it's crazy.

There doesn't need to be a class for everything with two freakin' wheels. The kicker for me is the ULWSB/SS stuff. Come on, I've said it before....what's next, a bagger class? ??? ???

Yeah, next thing you know they will have a scooter class... Oh wait, they do those now!

Don't give up on your dreams! If an illiterate like K3 can write a book, imagine what you can do!

Quoteas long as they run that TC in the afternoon and I'm out before it starts, it's all good!

Afternoon?  Yeah, it starts at noon.  Theoretically, the sprints start at 2PM.  Hey, at least if you have friends coming, well...might not be much to watch for sprints on Sunday...nine events...unless they just all get combined.

Saw that... ugh...  But such is life...

Are the 7 lap sprints all weekends or only this weekend due to the inclusion of the TC race?

How much would people be willing to pay per race if we had fewer longer races? SCCA June sprints cost $275 per class (a few are $285) pre entry. Add $40 if you post enter. 13 lap races.

AMA races are longer and less expensive.

There's a way to do it, but someone just needs to do it.

Can't really compare the cost of entry fees at an AMA race and a club race. Club races do not, and never will have the crowd at an AMA National race. One would think that the race (AMA) entries are not the sole funding to pay for track rental.

CCS has to at least break even. Fewer classes with longer races will be fewer entries. The price per entry will then have to be higher.
