Hey, Chris...

I just wanted to say thanks.

I finally finished your book "Highside!"

Took me since Christmas.  

Anyway, picking up a book, you have ideas on where you think things might go.  Terrible thing is that I know you...LOL!...so, I'm trying to read into things, and figure down the road where things will lead.

I certainly know some of the characters, some of the mixes of individuals, and some I don't.  Regardless, I so much enjoyed your book.  I thought I knew where it was going, but in the end it was much more representative of the essence of what racing is about and why we do it.  Certainly, you have a painters feel for exactly what racing should look like...but with words.


Thanks for putting out the great effort.  Putting so much of your heart, and even the hearts of others, was above any call of duty.  I really hope that it is even more successful than your wildest dreams, but I don't know if you can be properly rewarded.  

Really loved the book, Chris!

LOL!  Long day.  It was late?  

I can pronounce Onwiler...seems like most can't pronounce Rosno.
