What is a Twin sprint weekend? ???

sportbikepete

The Olsen twins show up and sprint down the straight.   ;D

GSXR RACER MIKE

   LOL

A twin sprint weekend is when they run all the sprint races on Saturday then reverse the order of the races run on Saturday and do it all again on Sunday. At Road America they still run the GT classes (once) on Friday after about 2/3rds of a day of practice.

So, basically we have two events in one weekend?  Double points?  And I would assume double the entry fees?

Yea, good question... does that mean the entry fees are doubled?
If so, can you just sign up for races on either Sat. or Sun? or if you sign up for a race, do you have to/automatically pay for both days?

You can sign up for either one day or the other.  It is noted on the entry form.  The entry fees are just like any other race date.

See Kevin Elliot's post in Rules and Regs.

If you race on Saturday AND sunday, the pricing is like all the races are in 1 day.
