I am new to Orlando and interested in learning more about motorcycle racing in the area. I know that Daytona is next weekend (03-05 March).  I am hoping to get into the pits to talk with some of you and learn more about the sport.  I grew up racing karts and other 4 wheeled equipment.  If any of you could get me info on how I could go about getting into the pits I would appreciate it.
Thanks-
Eric

If you are attending the Daytona event and you see a big blue box truck (old ryder truck) labeled customworld.com with flames while in the pits. i am the #908 racer on a Buell (blue body work with orange frame and orange and blue leathers.) Any questions or just want some info, i would be more than happy to tell.

Go to the Forms page on ccsracing.us and download the New Racer Information Packet.  It contains a multitude of information about CCS and about motorcycle road racing in general.

Last year was my first year racing, and the first thing I learned was that the people involved in this sport treat each other like family.  I guess since everyone outside the sport thinks we are misfits and crazy, us inmates have to stick together.

Just walk around the pits and say hello to people, ask them how their last race/practice session was and you will hear more then you probably care to.
