which class to run?

I have a cbr f2 and I was thinking about doing some wera vintage because I don't want to be on the track with too many squids at one time. But, someone told me there are comparable classes with ccs I could run in. It would be easier for me to run ccs logistically, but what class should I run? It would be nice to run w/ a bunch of older guys w/ families and a job to go to on monday; not a bunch of guys who will run me down because they have to prove they are the fastest mofo on the track. I don't yet qualify for F40 either.
Thoughts?

i know for a fact you can run in thunderbike, look on ccsracing.com for the rule book. If you dont have a racing license, you will need to enroll in a race school which takes places at many race events. for example, Team Hammer will be at Daytona on the weekend of March 3-5.

I'm an MCRA member and we are going to have our own race school this year. We work with ccs on track days and races at gateway and the midwest. From what I understand they are going to accept our school, so I've got that covered.
You think thunderbike tends to fit the mold I want?

most of the time it is an older group in thunderbike. i dont think i have ever seen a squid in there and i am from Capital squid state of Florida. Though depending on what year your bike is, vintage is a good class. The bike may be legal for some lightweight classes, usually the squids are in the MW, HW and UNL classes.

You mean wera vintage right? I didn't see a ccs vintage.
I just looked at thunderbike and the cut off for 4 cyl- water cooled 600 is 92. Mine is a 93; will they allow it because it is essentially the same bike?
To further confuse the matter, the 94 f2 has the fully adjustable forks that carried over to the f3, and I am about to put f3s on. I believe it's legal for wera.
