Here's the Yamaha Gen-Ryu, glimpse of the future for bikin. It's a Hybrid, very unique. They also make an all electric bike now too, that would be good for pit bikes.

The electric bikes work well except on the hills around Road America or the deep sand/stuff at BHF.
As far as we have come technologically, there still is no reliable replacement for internal combustion.

Nothing sucks more than pushing your pit bike back to your pit in full leathers :(
