I want to pre-register for Daytona.  I currently have a race license with another organization.  I believe the license application needs to be mailed in.

Would it be possible to fax in the pre-registration forms and the license application to meet the deadline and mail in the original license application?  Of course the mailed in license application will arrive a few days after the pre-registration deadline.  I would have called the office but they are closed today.

Thank you.

If I were you, I'd download the forms and try faxing them to the CCS office.  Include a cover sheet with the fax telling them the original License App is being mailed.

Remember to include a copy of your license from the other organization.

I see a lot of guys paying at the track when they pick up their pre-entry paperwork. I haven't seen it at Daytona, but at other tracks.

That's an unusual circumstance .. problems with a credit card for instance.  But normally you won't even be entered until you're payment goes through.

Many times the original signature is obtained at the track, though, by filling out the application again.

The most common problem at the ASRA (formerly FormulaUSA) races results from entries into the Pro classes when they haven't upgraded their license for that.  The 2nd most common problem comes from Team Challenge participants who don't have a current license.

Monday is a hard deadline. PO is closed. Lic must be an orginal signed form in the office before you can be entered in any races. Sorry, the deadline had been backed up 10 days already and my departure date for Daytona was moved up 3 days.

Gooch I sent you a PM with a UPS/FED-EX shipping address.
