Is it legal for me to Place tape over Headlight cut-outs in bodywork for racing.  I have a 1996 ZX7RR w/ Sharkskinz street upper.  Back-log  for Race-upper.  Not sure if I can get one before RA in April.  Is that legal to tape over the cut-outs for the headlights and place my number over that.
