QuoteDoes anyone specialize in FIXING crashed bodywork? I'm finding I'm not very good at it.

I have used the Plastic Doctor and had good results.

It depends on what you desire in a set of bodywork.

For EASY crash repair and good durability in crashes, you can't beat the high end stuff.

For the price, godfather is probably the best alternative out there.

I've run both (high end and el-cheapo), and this year I will be running a couple of sets of Godfather.

Thusfar I'm pretty impressed with the finish & fitment of it.  Will let you know how it crashes sometime this season...

I have used Hotbodies - GP composites and now Sebimoto.....I ran the Hotbodies in 04' on my SV 650, I thought the stuff was junk - Didn't fit together correctly - Paint cracked - thin like paper and didn't crash well at all(I hear the new stuff is much better quality) - But the price was cheap.. The GP composites was a step up, the cost was a bit more - fit and finish was better then the Hotbodies - took paint well - and crashed very well (for those of you who know me, I was on the ground more then I should have been this year), I only used one set the entire season and currently am having the set repaired and painted so I can sell the bike. This season I am running SebiMoto from YoYoDyne on the new Yami....My team has used this plastic in the past with rave reviews, the stuff DOES cost more, but then again you get what you pay for - the quality and fit and finish are superb, no monkeying around to line things up - drill and go, reinforced mounting points, very strong yet flexiable - in all honesty the finish is so good on this stuff that if you wanted to go the cheap/lazy route you could throw some stickers or a tapeworks kit on and be golden......To my knowledge this stuff is only found at YoYoDyne, they import it to the US of A, Same stuff the Factory teams use in World Supersport and WSBK - oh and the kit came with an fairing bracket - quality piece as well....... Just my two cents

godfather is the best for the money, if your in the SE or FL regions you can pick it up at the race and save the shipping cost.
