All very preliminary apparently, I guess they are still gathering investers.

Ah, too bad.  That can be tricky.  They have land yet?  Conditional use zoning?

I offered any helpfull input, they wrote back saying,
 "one of our principals is an avid motorcycle racer himself, so rest assured we have that angle covered, although of coarse, we're always open to suggestion and discussion"

Then added that the best way to keep track with things, was to check the website etc., and to sign up for the forum.

There are some gigantic vast area's of Pine Forest on the west side of town, and zoning would or could be Agricultural or Recreational, which both would allow.
 Jax. Raceways, Drag and 1/2 Mile Dirt, closed due to complaints from "new residents" that migrated out there, that facility had been there for many years, now closest track is 100 miles.
 Some great AMA Flat Track Races there the week before old Barberville for bike week, then the owners
refused to "fix" the track, and AMA stopped going.

 I'll click the site every couple of weeks.

Interesting.  Aren't they tied up in zoning a bit?

Current project continues.  Takes time.  We'll see.  Working on other projects too.

While the zoning thing is always an issue, it does not seem to be an outstanding issue.
 Lots of gritcar fans here and I'm sure it will have some community support, as long as it ain't next door.
