Hi

I'm thinking about renting out a shop in the Chicago-land area and wondering if anyone would be interested sharing the space and the costs.

I'm in the process of calling a few property management firms and  as of right now, the cost seems to be between $800 to $1000 per month for a 1000sf  (+- 100sf) in areas where one would not be afraid to leave bike + tools for a period of time.

Anyone interested?

Dawn

There may be those who are interested, but you might want to share a little more information about yourself (like your name) before someone would be willing to jump into a financial arrangement.

He's a CCS racer looking to share a shop / garage with someone in the Chicagoland area.

He's not asking for investers in a gold mining company.

True.....

... but at the time he posted, his login ID was under an alias and I was just trying to help the guy out.  When leasing a space, both names are on a lease and someone is ultimately responsible for the $$$.  Tell the landlord to go and collect from DNR or The Vitas (I think that's what it was at the time) and see what he as to say.

My idea was to exchange that sort of information privately.  I see no reason to plaster personal information for everyone to see.  And either way, does seeing my "real" name on an random anonymous Internet board lend me any extra credibility?

I'm gonna make a play for 1500 sf on the near south side/south loop.  Around Halsted and Cermack.  If anyone's interested.

Sorry Vic...

I thought you may have better luck in getting a response if people knew who you were.

Good Luck
