QuoteDawn,
Please don't pull the switch on this thread.  All that's on TV tonight is Dancing with the Stars.  I mean, I can watch figure skating but Dancing stars...man, that's just way over the top.
   ;D

Don't worry Don, I won't pull the plug.  It's actually to the point it's hillarious.  Some will just never get a clue.  I think Roger on the WERA board said it best....

Sup Dawn :D

So Adam - here's some of your own words for ya about the networking cable that you ran into a building you weren't supposed to...

"I had my access point hooked up in the media center this weekend and it was working great with great coverage. Andy had no problems with it and said it was fantastic.
Then the administration decided to cause trouble.
NHIS had network problems cuz of a network card gone bad and even after it was fixed the upper management was so 'lame' in the head that they wouldn't let me do a damn thing. Andy was more than willing to let me hook in and thought it was a great idea but said they had fired him too many times to do anything but follow orders.
Sooooo---in other words, until the dogs at NHIS join the rest of us in the 21st century and quit fearing technology, we're shit out of luck.
Fwiw--Andy too wants to setup wireless access points across the paddock and has been getting resistance from them."

Ain't the truth fun?  Of ocurse youor version oddly doesn't match what the others involved said or thought but hey, that's normal for a man so persecuted as you.

One last one for giggles before I hit the sack - Even John Ulrich has heard about the dog crap in the pits....

"Having said that, it is obvious that Adam Vella often has no awareness of how people perceive him or the dog mess in his pits."

Mongo--trying quite hard to find something to fit, huh?  Well, your lil scenario doesn't even fit close to what you said earlier, but whatever, it clearly keeps you entertained, and I'm so happy to keep you busy.

I didn't give a damn after they decided to not let network access anymore, I had my own connection.

Sounded like enough people DID complain though, because they did finally implement a wireless network and let the riders extend it using their own equipment into the garages.  Its not surprising how many people stepped up afterward with solutions, many of them were interested in getting this going  as well, which is why I was informing them of the resistance.

I do fail to see what this has to do with LRRS, though.

JU can say what he likes, I fail to see how that means I got into any issues with any org because of it.  I'm glad to see his comments (which I was stupified by at the time) sway you to believe such nonsense as well.   No, you're not biased and predispositioned to find anything to come after me.

When I was up at Loudon, I clean up after my dogs as we pit in a fully paved area.  At VIR I bury whatever mess they might make in the kitty liter gravel.

Any person who knows me better than the occasional bbs comment will know that I have a small 'poop' shovel with me in the back of the truck at all times for this reason.  I bought the day I got the dogs.

It has about as much to do with LRRS as you do ... now.

Told ya you'd lie about it - and trouble with ANYONE at the track is trouble with the organization.  I know woth the f-ups are that race WERA, there is no way that a one track org didn't know anything about you and how you act until all of the sudden you got a little upset one weekend.

Wow, so you bury the dog crap from a pair of huskies in the gravel at VIR?  That's more disgusting than I thought you were, funny you see nothing wrong with this, well not surprising of course.

At VIR I take my dogs for walks well away from anywhere a person might go, in the grass, pick up the crap and put it in a trasahcan also far form where anyone is pitting.  That is called being responsible.  Covering it with an inch or so of gravel is not.  Please keep that in mind in March, thanks :)
