Holy crap.  Moved to Wi Nov04.  Since then I have put on 23 lbs.  WTF?   Thats 2 lbs per month.  At this rate I'll need to cut my leg off above the knee in order to make race weight.  Or just get a cheater motor.  ;D

I noticed a long time ago that people up north tend to be heavier than those in the far south.  After years of studying the human body I know that it's not just a coincidence either.  Your body has many triggers that affect how it burns energy... ATP or glucose, temperature is a big one.  I gain 20 lbs every winter and loose it every spring, just like a damn bear  :) There are outside factors too, but trust me, this one is the biggest.  It usually takes a year or two for transplants to experience the higher metabolism once they move south of Orlando.

I feel vindicated!  It's ok to be fat, right?  Although I lost a big 128 lbs last March and a sh!t-load of cash to boot....I hope she enjoys shoveling her own driveway  ;D
