It's a small track.  Kind of technical.  Good people there.  Fast riders there too.

Check out: http://www.nestreetriders.com/forum and go to the 'Pit Area'. Good bunch of LRRS racers there and many of us are in the same boat as you (started racing with the last 3 years) with a few more guys that are 'stinking fast experts' or past LRRS expert champions.

Feel free to ask away with questions over that direction regarding LRRS. Also you can read this on my site: http://www.maberacing.com/lrrs.htm

LRRS is tight, tech, great for lightweight bikes, has very large # of entries per weekend, competitive, and we have damn fast riders. I love it.

Seriously though,  it is a great technical track especially for an SV.  And there is an amazing bunch of racers there.

I just started too, tonystrackdays.com is how I got started. He puts on about 10 a year, very professional event. I'm running a 900SS but the SV650s placed in the top 4 or 5 spots in my first race last year (bastards). See ya out there, #262

Tony runs a GREAT trackday... I did my first trackday w/ him back in August of '04 and havent missed one since.  I highly recommend you do a couple of his events before you start racing, especially if you don't have a CCS license yet.
