i agree with rick, shenandoah is a better more tactical track than summit with a huge grip..race twice there, dry and wet..no ambulance ever went on it, few crashes, inculding me low sided on the wet, enough run off, the few bad area are been work on. the rest  are slow areas ,     main with turn 3 and 4 are for me more dangerous than shenandoah,  same with tunr 4 at vir..more speed no run off at all..
but i m just an amateur..some will say..

QuoteNo, ambulance didn't even leave the track.  Left the paddock only once that I remember and I don't believe it was really even needed.  I rather race there than the asphalt mx track called Main.
i was told by another fellow racer that there is more sealer strips on the main. I think they sealed the concrete patch on T1, that should be fun in the wet.

Kevin,
can you give us somewhat of an idea when you might post the schedule?

Thanks a ton

Chris

Any possibility of getting it this week?

Thanks
Chris

Anything's possible. :)

If you're desparate, check the various track's Web sites schedules... some of them have 2006 dates posted, like the Barber, and VIR site.

Road America in early march, and Barber in August, if past years would be any indication.  I won my first trophy in a snowstorm.... :o
Interesting fact:  At 140 mph, charging through a snow shower will give you serious motion sickness!  Better yet, try looking for your brake marker!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I thought I was the only one that had experienced that ordeal... Road A in '93.  Motion sickness is right, plus the "tink, tink, tink" on the screen is distracting... especially going into gravity cavity.

Even tenative dates would help. Some of us have to bid our vacations now for next year. I have already missed 3 rounds of vacation bidding and my last round of bids comes this week. I'm throwing darts at a calander here. I know look at the track schedules, none of the midwest tracks have anything posted either. A peek at the MW tenetive dates would really help.
