Sounds like a personal problem. Sux for you.  :p

This works fine:  http://ccsracing.com/

I think it might be some errant javascript. If anyone has an idea, email me. Thanks.

BTW, I'm running Firefox (although the same problem occurs in IE) on WinXP SP2

Is this through that new super-computer of yours? Sounds like operator error to me! I can get in fine!!! Maybe you should call the "princess" and ask her for computer advice?

Well, I'm baffled. I can surf everywhere else that I want to but not any CCS or F-USA sites. Just plain strange. I've got a netwirk freind I can call later, so I'll see if he has an answer.

Princess couldn't fix a computer glitch to save her life. Operator error? Could be. I'm not perfect like you, Mr. Dorn.  :o :) ;D

OK, now I am strating to feel bad.

Start with this:

Can you go to:

http://207.230.145.15/

It should bring you to the Arenacross page (the web provider uses host headers to figure out what site you are trying to locate. Arenacross.com is the generic one).

If you can get there, then it's probably a name resolution issue. Go to Start/Run and enter "cmd". When the command prompt appears, enter "nslookup ccsracing.com" and see if you get an IP that matches the one above.

If that gives you the right IP, enter "ping ccsracing.com" and let me know if it tries to ping it. If it does, then do "tracert ccsracing.com" and see if the packets are getting all the way to the IP Address from above.

Another thing to try is to manually add the ccsracing.com IP to your "hosts" file. it's located at:
"c:/WinNT/System32/drivers/etc". open the file named "hosts" with notepad, and enter:

207.230.145.15    ccsracing.com

right below the:
127.0.0.1    localhost

entry

Oh, and you are perfect in our eyes!!! ;)
