  CCS gave Track Addix sanctioning to run the Great Plains series including Road America. Anyone in the know explain please. Yea or nay, muy bueno o muy mal?

Road America would be a combined region event.

Same as it ever was.  

Too much money to be made by CCS in the area to give that one up.

GP region will follow Dean and Kim's format.  You can check out his website for that information.  Could be interesting.

Gosh, you guys are all so negative about Road America! I remember one year about 4 or 5 years ago, the weather was great! Well, not "great", but at least it was like 55 degrees in the daytime! ;D ::)

  I'm huge in Australia too. Something about the reverse direction of flushing toilets doubling the Viagara doses? 2 years ago I think it was around 32 degrees on Saturday-at noon!

About ten years ago, the RA event was in May.  And they had to chip ice out from under the bridge at six.

Well, if you remember, they used to have 2 events a year. For some reason, they decided to drop the event that was in the summer and left the one in early spring...

Yup, all froggy 'til about 10 or 11. Lost 3 or 4 laps per event then lost last events of the day...
