Hello all, i need some help with my suspension on my 03 XB9R, I dont know how to set it. i need some sort of troubleshooting guide for the front and rear end. i had GMD Computrac do the internals and revalving in my forks 2 years ago and my Penske rear around the same time. Well i doing good on it but it just feels like it can be better. I need to have it set and ready for Homestead in December so i can have a good battle with Sir Costa and possibly Eric Wood. So if you could help with a how to and why guide, it will be much appreciated.

Hi Andy,

I can help you, but I might regret it come next time at Daytona when we're battling each other!

PM me anytime.

PS. I also have some great Brian J. Nelson photos of the two of us racing in the Thunderbike National. Close action. Good stuff.

Thanks alot i need all the help i can get. my email is andy908hamblin@yahoo.com if you could forward the photos that would be great. What ever you can help me in the suspension department will be great. I also need to find some info on the things to be certain the modify when building and high horsepower bike, talk of a possible 150 to 155 RWHP.  Are there any chances of getting with Milwaukee HD? I am working a deal with Port Charlotte HD, reason i ask is because i notice Clint is with Daytona and Milwaukee.

Oh by the way if you see the newest magazine called Super Streetbike or Super Stuntbike, well there is a write up on the Loudon Formula USA event and there is a photo of me and an SV ride in the corner of the page.

2006 season i should be doing as much AMA and Formula USA as i can so i hope to battle again with you.

Hey there Paul and Andy!.  Doesn't Estok use Don Finelli from traxxion at all the F-USA races?  See if you can find him.  Don't learn to much cuz I'm racing against you guys also. :)

Hi Matt. Nicely done at Daytona! Looked like a damn fine race up front (from the little I saw). Henry Duga said it was the fiercest 8-lap battle he'd ever seen.

well while at homestead when i was trying out the 450 spring i was going through a left corner and while mid corner my pivot bolt for the swimgarm broke in half and put the swingarm at a hell of an angle. as it started to fall into the corner i countersteered out and rode through the grass unharmed. Come to find out it was a older version of the bolt and it under went much stress from constant removal and retightening. I already replaced the bolt and the broken piece that attaches the shock to the swingarm. I had someone look at my setup and from when GMD set it up they had everything as tight as possible so my buddy loosened it a bit and it felt better, but i have to do some adjusting and check my sag numbers to match up with what you sent me so i can give your setup a try.

Thanks Paul.  It was quite a race and I am still stoked about it.  I wish I was going down to the opener, but I don't have the funds until Road America.  I'll see you there, right?  Are you going to Daytona?

Andy,
     Broken bolt?  Nice save!!!!!!!

Hey Matt,

Don't give up on your dreams! If an illiterate like K3 can write a book, imagine what you can do!

Yep. Still here at Daytona. Took 5th in the ASRA Thunderbike race on Sunday. My best national finish, but kind of a small grid compared to usual. I'll see you at RA, we can only hope for good weather...
