QuoteJanishch had a pretty good lead when the bike broke. He is one fast dude..Pitted next to Greenwood and the gang. Nice bunch, must be something in the air up there in Wisconsin.
I had that Scott greenwood fellow next to me on the front row of all 4 races i was in. He's friggin fast too.

Greg Nice ridin' down there!
 :)

ya Jesse was on a rail down there!

Purk pulled a podium in MWSB!  Nice work!  Even tho he pulled it in front of me...lol
But I thought the mw did a great job down there!

QuoteOkay Dave, so where's the press release on RRW (a site that gets noticed by people in the industry, unlike this one)?

THAT is where the post will make a difference.

And aside from Jesse winning the one CCS class (which I would agree, it didn't have anybody in it - of his caliber), I thought it was more impressive that he was well up in the lead in the FUSA classes.

There are lurkers on the board.

I don't do press releases for others unless I'm asked to.

How many people do you know that have won expert ROC races?  Again, no one of Jesse's caliber in his race, but he did still lead the FUSA race before breaking...

I made the post about what he did after he did it.  No way I could post what he hadn't done.

Am I proud of him?  Hel1 yeah!  Just like I'm proud when you do well, when Dano does well, etc.

Jesse's unique opportunity for himself is that he's young enough and capable enough that he could have the opportunity to have a  paid ride someplace, somewhere.  Maybe you don't see it, but others might.

Jesse doesn't come from a family of any great wealth.  This is an expensive "hobby" for everyone, but it can be way more expensive when you're trying to chase for the opportunity to possibly get a ride.

QuoteGreg, did you get your R6 sold?

Yes, actually sold both the 2003 and 2004 bikes and picked up 2 of Rob's 05's and rode them for the 1st time at the ROC. Missed you down here SD.

is this Dan Ortega?? Yea, we had some good races  starting on the front row together. You got me most of the time, and Dr. Perk edged me out in a couple as well. It sure was fun, im glad i took the time to go.
Ahhhh. To be alot younger. Jessee is 18 he said. VERY impressive rider. Brandon parrish is 23 and this is his first expert season.

You should be schooling him on this...  It's part of the marketing side, but I'm saying things you already know quite well.

QuoteHow many people do you know that have won expert ROC races?  Again, no one of Jesse's caliber in his race, but he did still lead the FUSA race before breaking...

Out of those results posted, I know 5 of the people who won.  Certainly is an accomplishment though.

QuoteI made the post about what he did after he did it.  No way I could post what he hadn't done.

Absolutely!  I am too...  It's amazing to see how far he's gone in such a short time.  I just took it wrong when you got pissed that other people were mentioned in the thread.

QuoteJesse's unique opportunity for himself is that he's young enough and capable enough that he could have the opportunity to have a  paid ride someplace, somewhere.  Maybe you don't see it, but others might.

Points taken.

Cheers...

Hey, no problem, Jeff.

I'm not for stealing thunder.  But when I start the subject Janisch wins!, well, I'd expect everyone to start a thread about their friends, family, etc.

This board has so few posts anymore.  Why pile it up on one thread?  Yeah, my panties may have been on over my jeans (still leaves me commando), but there's sure enough bandwidth on this board for more posts.

Yup, but I see many people that I've worked with do many different things.  Sometimes, the easiest things for people to do are the hardest for them to execute.

Just an observation...

There's so many topics that you choose to argue, and argue, and argue, and aruge, and argue, and argue, etc.

People are afraid to post their opinion, expecially when their opinion differs from yours.
