For those that shut the tube down last night when Lidge took the mound in the 9th... and promptly made J-Rod and Mabry look re-DIC-ulous.  Apparently our SHORT stop Eckstein was able to squeek one through the infield... Edmunds earned a walk... and that Alvin Pujols guy everyone keeps goin on and on about knock one 400+ feet OVER the boxes in left field to take a one run lead in the top of the ninth!

and even MORE amazingly... Izzy didnt walk the first batter then give up a single to put the winning run on base!!  1-2-3 third, dont tear down Busch yet... we still got some ball to play!!  ;)

BTW, seeing the Houston fans wearing the "Cardinals Suck" shirts before the game pissed me off.  If we win this, I will be merciless against their fans.

heck I'm happy for the Sox, they had a hell of a year and deserve to be where they are... My redbird roots wont allow me to root for the cubbies!  ;)

Hope we can git-er-done at home... would be nice to finish the season with another WS appearance before they tear down Busch!  Nice lil going away party!
