I don't have rain tires for this weekend...  :(

I only have sets of Michelin Pilot Race and Pilot Sport.

In the rain would Pilot Sport perform better than Pilot Race? Pilot Sport have deeper and more threads. Michelin's webpage claims both tires perform excellent in the rain. I was just curious...

A Pilot Power would be your better rain tire than either the Sport or Race 2.

The Sport would be a better rain tire than the Race 2 due to its sculpted tread.

Amen to that!  I have the Pilot Powers on my street bike (a hot FZ1) and I rode on the interstate in a steady (though not very heavy) rain without any problems at all.

While I reduced my lean in the turns, I still rode above the posted speed limit.  The whole experience was down right confidence inspiring.
