So after my last race at Gingerman this weekend, I would like to bump up to Expert so I can do the CRA Event the following weekend at MAM (CRA Won't allow AM's to run Liter Bikes)

Will I be able to this at registration? They are going to make my bump up next year anyway, which is cool with me...

Will there be any issues Points and Championship wise if I upgrade AFTER my final race at Gingerman?

What do you guys think...

Dan is in the same boat I am...  :-/

The race director can bump you to expert anytime based on your request and qualifications.  I think if you explained this to Bill at Gingerman he'd do it.

Points & championships as amatuer will remain as such; those who have switched mid season have accumulated points in both am and ex.  Am points stop accumulating when the switch is made.

The only thing you'd want to keep in mind is the ROC if you're going; if you switch, you'll ride as an expert there.

Yeah no ROC for me :'( I'll print off the points standing and everything and take em' with me and hunt down Bill at the end of the races and see if he'll hook me up  ;D

Well, CCS is going to make me bump up after this Rookie takes Championships in Unlimited Speedscreen, SuperBike and SuperSport, so I figure I might as well bump up after Gingerman, so I can run CRA at MAM the following weekend...Since you can't run a 1000 as an AM in CRA...

WAIT A COTTON PICKIN MIN.... !!!

You are gonna have to beat ME to take that Unlimited Supersport championship !   ;D

(let the smack talk begin !!!)

Nick, I called Dawn at CRA and she said there was no way that they would allow us to run as EX unless we had an EX license from CCS.  So the only way we can pull this off is to have Bill sign off on it... so looks like Mike and I will just have to sweet talk him a bit.  I got the go ahead from the wife for the CRA weekend !   :D
