Super Dave

What about Mitch?  Has he plugged it for you, Chris?

I just sent out some books for review, including one to Mitch.  We'll see what happens.
Jeff, you saw the book on RRW?  I didn't know about that either!  What did it say?
Still hammering out the last details of the web site.  What a pain!
The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

I just finished it last night.  I'm still trying to figure out some of the characters.

One thing is certain, if I'd known Jeff W. beat that old EX as much as he did I wouldn't have paid him as much for it when I bought it off him!

Good read, HoeBiz!

Wow! I just finished the book the other day. I was really impressed with it Chris! It really hits the essance of what a new racer is up against in there first year of racing. There is a lot of good info and it was a superb read.

Awsome job Chris! I cant wait till the sequel! My review..... two thumbs up, with a gold star to boot. I truey enjoyed the book. I just wish it was longer. I finished it in two days.

255 pages.  Don't worry.  The next one will be longer.

Got my pre-ordered copy a few days ago (long delay... whassup wit dat? ;) )

Almost done with it (been reading it on the train on my commute to work.)  I was never a part of the LW crowd, so I have *no* idea who some of the characters are - though some are pretty obvious.  Athena?  LOL.  :)  But I'm enjoying the book.  A lot of your stories remind me of my first few races, and just overall brings back a lot of the simple memories that I forgot about since I quit racing this past spring.  I'll definitely read this book again, whenever I start to miss racing.  And I particularly enjoy the fact that you haven't seemed to lose sight of what it was like to be a beginner in the sport.  I'm sure based on how this book reads, your how-to book will be fantastic for beginners.  Good luck to ya!

And it sounds like you've spent some time down on Doty Road, eh?  ;)

Ixnay!  Ixnay!  This book is ALL FICTION!  The people, events and places described are strictly inventions of the author's imagination!
Thanks for the compliments, Jim.  Yes, I truly remember how it felt to be a beginner.  How could I forget?  It was the greatest adventure of my life!
