Is what I said as I drove through the sparks that was coming off a transformer that was being hit by lightning.

As I was driving home today, there was black, oily smoke pouring out of the front lawn at a Denny's!  Guys were standing around gawking at it, and emergency equipment was coming from every direction.  I have no idea what that was all about....  Maybe electrical in a vault, but the traffic lights were still working.

The frame was snapped, the #3 rod was dangling from a hole in the cases, and what was left had been consumed by fire.  I said, "Hey, we've got all night!"

The cook finally took the smoking stinking hulk of food that Denny's serves and gave it a proper burial.  ;D

Well the storm took down Grandma & Grandpa's barn, machine shed, grainery, damaged their house and garage.  I'll post some pictures tonight.....

Looks like we have a lot of work to do this weekend.
