Is supposed to be a day of rest for those who work....

So why then do we put ourselves through this misery?

Learned from Owens Corning guys that made/make insulation. Get in the shower rinse off good then poor white vinegar over the affected areas then soap and rinse. Doesn't take much a quart bottle does two people. Also works on clothes but the vinegar does mess them up (guys said jeans didn't last a month)

Also, you can use masking tape to pull some of the fibres out of the itchy areas.  ;D

Seriously Dawn, you guys should be using particle masks when installing fiberglass. This crap can damage your respiratory system, big time!  :(

You can use the paper respirators, but I'd recommend investing in the 1/2 face respirator with replaceable cartidges. $25 or so for it at your local big box hardware store, and you can use it other times you work with hazardous chemicals and such. Painting, fiberglass, etc.

I use one quite a bit at home, and a full face one (with a plastic face shield and everything) at work.

No sense in breathing in harmful vapors or particulate matter if you don't have to.
