All-righty, then. I'm currently racing in LRRS but will be moving to central Florida at the end of the year. I saw that CCS runs a regional Florida series but the CCS home site has no link to it. Where can I get some more information about it (so I don't go crazy next year) ;) ;D.

Call Henry DeGouw.  I don't have his number here, but if you do a search on the JenningsGP.com website forum, you'll definitely find it.  He's a great guy, and a big asset to racing.  The FL series is run a little differently than the rest of CCS (all good differences IMO), but he'll explain it all for you.  Good luck, and see you at the track.

Good series; very competitive.  The races are at Moroso in West Palm Beach.  Homestead in Homestead, Jennings, damn near Georgia, and Daytona for the race of Champions.  Races are once a month normally but sometimes a little more often.  Beautiful weather in the winter and hotter than hell in the summer, but really good people and a lot of the big boys come down in the winter to add a little flavor to the series.  Look forward to seeing you down here

+1,+2 - good info . YEs, there are lots of fast riders down here as we race 12 races, starting in Feb and ending in December at Homestead AFTER the race of Champions.
We practice saturday, and race on sunday.

Thanks. We run things a little differently up here, also. I just finished up my mandatory 10 novice races and go AM. next week ;D. Unfortunately, the two classes I run are LRRS classes only. Proddy Twins and Lightweight Sportsman. A basically stock motored EX500 prolly won't be good for much down there. So, I also have to figure out what to race ???
All in good time, though ;D.
Cheers, Lee S.

Lee,

I'm curious about the LRRS series -- drop me an email if you have a minute to discuss.

An EX500 can run just about anything but will be most competitive in Ultra Lightweight Superbike. It can run GT lights, LW F40 if you are 40 and over and Thunderbike. You will be running mid to back of the pack.
