Your brother ok?  Saw him while I was at the hospital briefly, heard he broke his knee?  Hope he heals well...in the same breath please tell him to be a little more patient on those passes next time for me.

Thanks to that careless move at Gignerman I'm out for the season... :(

Chuck, let me say I am sorry for what happened to you.

I kept going to your pit (to talk to you) as I thought you were still at the track, but later found out through your teammate that you had indeed gone to the hospital.

All my brother said was he made a bone head manuever.

Yes, his knee is in pretty bad shape.  Looks like it is going to require several surgeries.

I'm sorry to hear you're out for the season.

Wow Chuck...

What happened?
I was going to try and catch up with you after my GTO...
But needless to say, I was in my pits trying to put my bike back together.

Are you okay?
Are you sure you are done for the season?

Well, what ever the case is, I hope you recover and get back out there as soon as you can.

Chuck

Thanks guys...

I had a crap weekend at Gignerman.  3 time loser...first crash I lost the front in T3, 2nd crash I hit a false nuetral that sent me off the track on the right hander just before the back straight, 3rd crash I got taken out in T3.

I injured my hand, and fractured my Calcaneus (heel bone).  From what I understand Heel bones are a bit tricky so I want to make sure I am 95-100% healthy before I come back.

Thanks again for all your support, you guys go get some wins for me...

Quoteyou guys go get some wins for me...

That should be a little easier without YOU there!!!  ;)

Heal up quick bro!

Just got the report of my CT over the fax.  I have what is called a Complex Communitive Fracture of the calcanium (heel bone) right at the joint.  :(  Typically this is fixed through surgery involving a steel plate....yuk!

I go see my specialist tommorrow.  Anyone have any info on this type of injury?

Xian_13

Chuck,
You better heal up... and fast!

I want my Coffee  :P

All kidding aside, I hope you get back soon

Just got back front he Ortho.  I got more good news than bad.  He said he didn't think surgery would help cause it would be like putting screws through butter.  I guess there is a spot on my heel that is broke into 15-20 pieces.  :o  BUT they where all aligned and should heal nicely.  I am to go 8 weeks with no wieght on my foot, and am to go back in 10 days for an x ray to check on the bone.

:( to 8 weeks with no walking... :) to no surgery!

Chuck glad to hear that you will not need surgery.
