I will be going to Autobahn on the 25th of July and had a few questions:

1.  Will there be a tire vendor there?
2.  What time do the gates open?
3.  What is paddock situation?
4.  How strict is tech?

If anybody had any insight/advice I would appreciate it.  This is my first time on a track other then Gateway, and my first time on a track in 2+ years.

Yes there will be Michelin Tires There

Gates open at 6

Not sure about paddock situation, we are running the full course, so I don't think any car guys will be there. Last time we ran the full course Monte did pit in and pit out on the south course which was a little dangerous. In my opinion we should pit in on one side and pit out on the other. There is a large amount of pavement to pit on.

How strict is tech? Why do you ask?

Thanks for the response!

The tech question is about my bike of course.....My belly pan is cracked, the rest of the bike is in good working order.  The flyer I received said something about water wetter in the intermediate group (so I know they are concerned about leaks), and I wondered if a cracked belley pan would be a problem....if it is...I have duct tape :)

Get a small fiberglass kit from the auto parts store. It's an easy garage fix. If you're worried about looks, shoot it with a rattle can and go.  ;)

Do or do not, there is no "try".

Make sure and put water and water wetter in your coolant system for sure! Thats Madatory. If someone goes down with anitfreeze in their bike and gets all over the track it ruins it for everyone, Everybody will loose track time because of the mess.

And that person go to penalty box and feel shame eh!

About the Belly pan, I'm not sure if STT requires that or not.
