Im not as upset about the basement flooding, as the fact that my wife did nothing about it.  except sit there and watch tv.  The reason, cause she couldnt reach me by cell phone.

For sure Saturday was too freakin hot for me, practice was fine but GTL I could only last 14 laps...   Sunday was fun, wish we could have done the full 8 laps, it actually seemed cooler later in the day.  Overall had a blast, makin my way closer to the front too!   ;) ;D

QuoteI remember when we were ams and Andy and I did high 15s and I thought that was fast...lol

No kidding.  I could hang with you guys for the most part back then.  Then you two took off and I kinda got stuck in a rut.

Not sure I'll hang with you again, but I'll at least keep you in sight for the race.  ;D

QuoteOh Jeff, you'll get 13s next time we're there!

Absolutely.  I SAW them this weekend.  They were right there.  Just a matter of having everything in order.   8)

You'll make it up in T2.  It's WFO from T1 to T3.  That's the difference from 14/13s to 12s

What does it take to go from 19's to 16's?

Corner speed and being smooth.

Dan the T1-3 trick has done pretty well for me so far, but admittedly I roll off for T2 on occassion.  Entry to the carousel, as well as braking too early for T7 have been the culprits.

The second half of T6 is another area that I need some more bells for...

Now that I know what's wrong with my setup, I can have a bit more throttle there.  I can't wait to get back out.  Dang shame I had to work today...

Chuck, actually right now I have enough to complete this season.  Need to focus on tires for now and then late in the season I'll start picking them up for next year.

If you still have it, drop me a line in Sept/Oct.

19's to 16's takes a bit of experience and understanding.  A good school would get you there.

19's are common for newer riders, and breaking to the 17's and 16's just takes some understanding of what you're dealing with (man & machine).

Being smooth will increase your corner speed and decrease your lap times.  However, making mistakes only serves to slow you down.

There are so many things that go into this.  Setup is key.  THe problem is, people don't understand how to relay information back to a tuner to get the bike setup right.  They just know they can't go any faster.  It's identifying why they can't go faster that's the key.
