QuoteGo to Vermont and get a street legal dirt bike-XR250L or XR 650L. Start riding off road in Vermont and start reading the technique books; Iaenatsch, Code, etc.. Chicks who ride horseback are more fun than beach brats. Get your education and do some track days. See where it goes from there?

Horseback riding develops great ......  thigh muscles.  Yeah, that's it.   ;D

There's a reason a girl likes to canter.

Oh my, I'm really going to get myself in trouble here!

lol thanx for the replies guys. I now know there is a race track at mont. tremblant. that i know for sure and thats a few hours from here.

arr. i'll just have to think about it some more.

Im just worried about being to old when i start racing and then miss my chance to get anywhere. Ive already read about a few 16 year olds who are already racing, aswell as some 15 year olds in europe racing 125 and 250s. Kinda feels like every day im not racing im wasting time.

Dad would be better for racing. He'd support me before mom would because mom thinks is dangerous. but i cant be like "im moving back to florida because i want to pioneer racing". If loudon is any good, maybe i can move to Vermont AND race well. kinda like have your pie and eat it too.

enough of that.... before long someone going to call a phyciatrist on my ass.

If you are just starting out racing thinking it is going to be a career then you might be disapointed someday.  I have been in your shoes.  I started racing when I was 11 yrs old(Karts,FF1600).  I am now 22 and still racing at the amatuer level.  Granted this is my first year racing bikes but I have also won a few nationals and championships in shifterkarts when I was 18.  I thought I had life by the balls thinking I was going somewhere with my racing career.  Things change a lot when you graduate high school and get into the "real working world".  My racing career has turned into a hobby.  Thats the way it should be looked at anyways.  If you do good, great!! Take it day by day and see where it takes you.  If your not as good as you would like to be then just race because you like racing!  I really thought I had a shot at being a professional car driver for a team.  Well that went down the tubes when you have to support yourself and what not.  Reality hit me hard and it sucks, but when you look at the big picture its not so bad.  I race because its my passion and its the only thing I have done since I was 11.  I hope you do start racing because at the age your at now those were my most memorable and best times racing!!!!

Good luck!
