Updated Camping Info for Brainerd Track Days

Hey Gang,
I have been talking to the folks at Brainerd and have some updated information regarding the availability of camping at our June 25th and 26th track day event.

• Camping will be available in the pit both Friday and Saturday nights.
• A fee of $25 per person for 1 night or $35 per person for 2 nights will be charged.
      
• The camping fee is charged to cover the costs of overnight security, showers, etc.
• The above fees are to camp in the pit. Using one of BIR's full service camp sites will encure an additional $30 per day charge.

Holy Smokes!!!!!!

The $75.00 fee to camp at Road America doesn't sound so steep anymore.  At least it's per motor home and not per person!    

Wow... Two days at BIR would be $105.00 for a family of three.  Is it that way for the races too?

Nope, camping at CRA events is 10 bucks for the weekend, free for workers.

In the LWGP race only,  SV's are bad enough, 250 two strokes whomp on my 'lil 400.

Sorry for the fees everybody.  In order for us to provide you the convenience of overnight camping in the pit, Brainerd requires us to have 24 hour security for the entire time we are there.  The cost for this security will be $800+ for the weekend.  Brainerd keeps $10 of the fees and we will use the rest to cover the cost of security.  It's either that or we can't permit camping.
